KALLIDA festival reveals line-up for debut edition

1 March 2017

KALLIDA festival will be staging its inaugural edition at Baskerville Hall in Wales this summer, providing an intimate two days of music in scenic surroundings for just 500 guests.

Topping the daytime bill are afrobeat 12-piece Nubiyan Twist, with Leeds' beatsmith Bambooman, Sheffield collective K.O.G. & The Zongo Brigade, experimental jazz group Vels Trio and soul vocalist Nilüfer Yanya also performing live sets.

The nighttime parties feature some of the underground's best talents from across the musical spectrum, with Metalheadz legend DJ Storm, breaks-loving techno producer Mella Dee, garage veteran Sticky and London house pair Wayward leading the charge behind the decks. There will also be takeovers across the weekend by Off Me Nut Records, Liquid Steel Sound, Green Bay Wax and The Night Kitchen, and we are delighted to be bringing some of our own PFTP residents to play, with ES.Q and Emily May spinning house and techno late into the night.

Away from the music, the event organisers promise, "a fantastic array of visual installations and absorbing design", to make the festival a truly unique and immersive experience.

KALLIDA festival takes place across July 28th & 29th - tickets and accommodation starting at £65 are available now: kallida.co.uk
